THE FIRST NAME IN PRECISION ENGINEERING
| |
HISTORY
The company was founded in 1969 by Jack Whitehead the Grandfather of Managing Director Paul Adams. Known as Cerdic Engineering then, it produced precision parts and assemblies to the medical industry and quick release couplings to the
Ministry of Defence.
Paul's father Sydney Adams, a successful Design Engineer from predominantly the Aerospace industry, joined Cerdic in 1973 and pioneered the use of CNC
machinery in the company. The company's continual investment in new CNC technology and its ability to adapt to new and varied markets with a keen eye on the future has meant that the company continues to thrive today.
The company changed its name to Adams Precision when it moved to its present site in 1996.
